The unforgetable scenes in my life
Wow.. Its has really been a long long long long time since I last wrote something here. Nearly forgot tat I still have a blog for myself.
Suddenly tonight, I feel like writing.. but duno what to write about actually (shall I write about LIFE? neh.. too chim for you pple out there to understand) and duno who the hell will ever read what I wrote.. hee'
'
Okie, I have decided .. I shall write about the 2 most unforgetable scene in my life and I will never forget any single detail of them.
First, it was the most touching scene that I ever witnessed in my whole life. It happened about 3 or 4 years ago. It was during the CNY and we decided to bring my grandma ( 93 years old at tat time ) to visit a relative. My grandma was quite weak at tat time, she could hardly walk, she was almost deaf but she still had a clear state of mind.
The main purpose of us visiting that family was that there was a old granny ( 89 , if I am not wrong ) who was a good sister ( not real sisters ) of my grandma. It had been many many years since they last saw each other becos that granny was also in poor health and also deaf and also not able to walk.
The moment my grandma and tat granny saw each other, I can tell from their express on their faces that they were both the happiest old grannies in the world at that point of time. They just sat beside each other, holding each other hands and kept saying good, good, good.
Soon, tears began to flow from the two grannies. They never spoke to each other cos both of them were nearly deaf. They just stared into each others eyes and were very happy that each of them was still alive in this world. They had got thousands and millions of things to share with each other but everything was Jing Zhai Bu Yan Zhong. That was the last time they ever saw each other.
What I hear from my mama was that both of them were very very close 'sisters'. In the past (during the WWII ) when life was not so smooth, both of them ate alot of hardship together. That granny even helped my grandma to gave birth. In our generation, we can never never feel their hardship during that time.
Now, both of them had left the world peacefully. My grandma left us 3 years ago and tat granny left not long after her. Till now, the unforgetable scene still remains clearly in my mind. The expressions of the two old ladies when they saw each other. To be honest, tears also flowed when I was there witnessing it.
The next scene which had left a scar in my heart happen around one year ago. I was driving home after sending my fren home in Jurong East late one night. An accident had taken place at a traffic junction and I happened to be waiting at tat junction not long after tat for the lights to change. And the ambulance also had just arrived before me, attending to the victims.
What I saw was the remains of a terribly crushed motorcycle and a serious dented taxi. Just as the lights turned for me to go, I saw a middle-aged auntie dashing across the road and stopped right in front of me looking at the crushed bike. Guessing she is the mother of the cyclist and rushed to the scene immediately after she got notified.
She was shocked and devastated. I could see the expression of her face clearly from my car. She just coundn't believe what she saw and kneel on the ground. Later, some police officers came and helped her up to the ambulance. I felt so sorry for her but I couldn't do anything. I also never and dun want to go and check the papers for the news of the cyclist the next day. But what I saw on the face of that auntie had a great impact on me.
So, what is the moral of telling you people of the 2 most unforgetable scenes in my life?
To treasure every good friends around you. Life is not so long and is never smooth and is always good to have good frens companying you sailing the rough journey.
Also, we are also responsible for ourselves. Do not hurt those people who love and care for you by getting yourself hurted. Its irresponsible to let your parents down just by doing harm to yourself.
End of story.
Wow... I had never ever written just a long entry. Suddenly just feel like writting something and tat something turn out so long. Hee..
